History/Info:
A few miles from New London is Mystic Seaport, an authentically restore 19th century coastal village. In the village is a reproduction of Brant Point Light which is on Nantucket Island. This is a reproduction of the first Brant Point Lighthouse, which was built in 1746. There have been 7 lighthouses at the site. There is a plaque on the lighthouse in Mystic Seaport explaining the life and time of Brant Point Light.

Personal Notes:
While visiting the lighthouse don't forget to head into the town of Mystic and visit Mystic Pizza for a great lunch.
