History/Info:
Palau can be found on the narrow strip of land close to the three
islands of 'Spargi, Budelli, and Razzoli', these islands are part of
the archipelago 'La Maddalena' Palau is a lively and ever youthful
village founded in 1800 to provide a jumping off place to the islands.
20 years ago, the harbour has been enlarged and it is now one of the
most agreeable marinas in the Mediterranean. Offering all the marine
and chandlery services necessary for its 400 berths ! The village is
on the westerly side of Sardinia situated between the Cape 'Porto
Rafeal' and the huge granite cliff called 'The Bear'. The rear of the
village is dominated by the hill called, 'Baragge' from where it is
possible to view the entire village and archipelago in a series of
breathtaking views.

- If you are already on Sardegna, you can take SS133 or SS125 north to
SP121 into Palau.
