History/Info:
The lighthouse is situated on the southern tip of the peninsula at Porto di Messina. The light can be seen for more than 21 miles.

Directions: map of area

  • From the Ferry Terminal at Porto di Ranieri, get onto SP41.
  • Take SP41 for 1.3km and turn left onto Via Gibraltar.
  • Stay on Via Gibraltar for 0.3km to the end and take a left onto Via Don Blasco.
  • In 0.9km Via Don Blasco becomes Via Ranieri.
  • Take Vi Ranieri for 1.75km to the lighthouse.
