| Last Visited: August, 2000 History/Info:
The two range lights were built in 1873. One, the rear range, is a
55 foot square brick tower. The other, the front range, was a
smaller round wooden tower on the wharf. Both lights were
discontinued in 1961. Now the front range light sits on the grounds
of the Coast Guard station, very close to the brick tower. The
building attached to the rear range light is divided into private
residences.
Hours:
Neither light is open to the public but from the parking lot for the
rear range light building you can view both lights.
